Nice Plaid
I met this guy at Georgia Tech.
Anyone recognize him?
Check out some photos from ChristChurch’s AMOS Retreat.
Here are some pictures from the Williams’ going away party. Wade Williams has been the worship director at ChristChurch Presbyterian since 1993, and he is moving onto a new calling at a church plant in Chattanooga, TN. Here are some pics from his going away party.
How about a few categories? This one will be "cuties":
I bet you never thought this guy’d be in the cuties category …
the next category: "slightly wierd"
(nice shirttail…)
next: "sentimental"
So many people will miss the Williams’ and Wade’s ministry here.
Fortunately, we got to give Wade a proper sendoff, remembering some of his "interesting" qualities.
Wade and Jennifer got to say goodbye to us too. It was a time that again combined joy and grief as we know that our parting that feels like "pruning" will result in a greater joy as we see God work in our lives.
following the formal program, Janet Lombardo played the harp in the hall to make our next category: "beautiful"
just one category is left: "jane"
This Easter season at ChristChurch has been a little bit sad. During choir practice, Wade Williams, our founding worship director announced that he was moving on to another position. We will all miss him.
One of Wade’s gifts is bringing together all kinds of people to make a joyful noise together. We’ve got very mature and … immature people here.
Tenors, Altos,
Sopranos,
and Basses
will all be very sad to see Wade go.
You can just see the sound he is able to get from them all!
And what will Bill Long do without being able to air-guitar to Handel’s Messiah?
Wade you will be missed!
