Apparently, as he was not strapped in, Leif managed to shuffle downwards and dump out onto the floor!!! (Because I was the Mommy of the Day, I only briefly contemplated grabbing the camera before picking him up, hence this photo-reenactment…but let me introduce you to my sister-in-law Angie, aka: Who’s Afraid of CPS??)
Thank the Mommy of the Day that the carseat was not placed on the changing table or some other altitudinous surface! By the way, you might be wondering what manner of creature the above is—-giraffe?? marsupial?? Jaundiced Eyore??—-but that is another matter entirely.

I was quite surprised to hear you two are parents – CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Haven’t read all the way through so do know when your son was born.
David – were you one of the Jet Blue pilots that got to sit on the taxi way during the snow/ice storms? Hope not
